The Team oversees a range of highly successful events for Lismore. We work with event owners on the viability, inception, implementation and evaluation of major events.
The Events Team
Provides an advisory role and support to event owners- Determines the level of Council approval required for your event – DA required or not

- Provides an event co-ordination and administrative role
- Generates marketing and profile for events
- Plugs events into regional tourism services and our user-friendly accommodation booking system
- Secures and devises travel packages that benefit delegates and visiting partners
- Links to event suppliers and support services
- Financial support for qualifying events
- Evaluates events including economic impact assessments on the regional economy, delegate satisfaction surveys and effects on the community
Sometimes we can provide financial assistance for important things that often get overlooked, such as sanitation, traffic management and security.
