New Motor Vehicle Registrations
Over the past seven years, Lismore has enjoyed high growth in new vehicle registrations (156% from 2001 to 2007 – the highest in the region), reinforcing Lismore’s status as the regional hub for business and industry. Registration of new motor vehicles is an indicator of economic activity showing availability of financial resources to outlay on expensive commodities, such as car, truck and front-end loader purchases.
